Doris's obituary

Born on May 10, 1953, Doris Dianne Hart (also known as Dottie) was the fourth of 10 children of the late Marjorie Magathen Collins and late Calvin Glen Collins. Doris accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior in her youth. She was an active member of Bible's Way COGIC under the late Bishop Larry J. Magathen, where she served as a licensed missionary, praise and worship leader, choir member with a beautiful soprano voice, and director of children's church. Doris had the gift of healing. She was initiated as a Reiki Practitioner in 1990. Doris loved music and playing on the x-box. She loved to travel and was always dressed stylishly.

Doris graduated from California State University in Hayward with a degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology. Dottie had a big heart. She had a fondness for children and worked as a Child Care Development Coordinator at the Naval Air Station. She also worked at Lincoln Child Center where she made lifelong friends.

She is survived by her sons Robert Williams III and Rynell Williams, daughter-in-law Nina Williams, mother-in-law Mary Hart and in-laws Barbara and Robert Charles Williams, Sr.; grandchildren Dajanette, Sasha, Shani, Nick, Jnayah, Jeaniel and Traxton, Rynell Jr., and Shelton Williams; six sisters and brothers - John, Gwen, Alvin, Aleatha, Melodie, and Gladys; brothers-in-law Kenneth, Rick & Glenn, and sister-in-law Antoinette; best friend Bettie White, companion Jim Gonzalez; Uncle Melvin Enoch, Aunt Carrie McGathon, and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her former husbands Robert Charles Williams, Jr. and Clarence Hart, son Ryan and siblings Christine Smith Woods, Glenn Collins and Edgar Collins.
