It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doris Handy, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother who departed from this world on July 10, 2024. Doris was born on January 14, 1941, and lived a rich and meaningful life that touched many people.

Born and raised in a loving family, Doris grew to become a pillar of her community. Her unwavering faith, warm personality, and dedication to service were a source of comfort and inspiration to many.

Doris is not only remembered for her accomplishments but also for her loving nature. As a mother, she instilled in her children the values of kindness, respect, and diligence. As a grandmother, she showered her grandchildren with love and wisdom.

Although Doris' physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be sorely missed but never forgotten. We take solace in the memories we have of her and in the knowledge that she lived a full and rewarding life.

A service to celebrate Doris’ life will be held at a later date. The family thanks everyone for their support during this painful time and requests that all remembrances be made in the form of contributions to Doris' favorite charity.
