Doris S. Gantz, - 71, of ATLANTIC CITY, Went home to be with her creator on Tuesday September 28, 2021 after a battle with lung cancer. Tootie, as she was affectionately called, was born on November 29, 1949 , raised in Atlantic City, New Jersey and spent her life in the area. She was the daughter of late Annis Woody and Frank Woody. Doris worked at New Jersey Avenue school in the cafeteria, as well as at the Convention center for maintenance. She graduated Atlantic City High School. She loved her family and animals Patches and Puffy. She was one of a kind with a great heart to match and will be truly missed by many. Doris is preceded in death by: mother Annis Woody, father Frank Woody, brother Richard Woody and her daughter Annis Gantz. She leaves behind to cherish her memories: Her Son Samuel Gantz, her sister Mary Woody , her brother in law Louis Crumble, her brothers Frank and Drew Perry. She’s leaves behind two nieces Tameka Crumble, Latisha Woody, one great niece Yonisha Shanks, and two nephews Richard Banster, Louis Woody . She is also leaving behind seven grandchildren Ronnet Black, Roxanne Bumpus, Robert Black, Aishaira Gantz, NyKirah Gantz, NyShirah Gantz. As well as seven great grandchildren who she just adored with all her heart and soul.
