Doris Anne Crandall, age 94 passed away peacefully on Thursday January 30,2025 at Mill Gardens Assisted Living Facility in Midland Park, NJ. Doris was born on April 27,1930 in Midland Park, NJ. She married Robert Paul Crandall on April 10,1954 and resided in Ridgewood, NJ, Wyckoff, NJ and Sparta, NJ before returning to Midland Park at Mill Gardens. After raising her family, Doris went to work at a brokerage firm in NYC, ultimately becoming a successful, licensed stockbroker. She enjoyed playing golf, card games [ especially bridge], crossword puzzles, reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren. At Mill Gardens  she was known for singing along to show tunes, knowing all the lyrics. Doris was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Elizabeth Dykstra, her husband Robert, and her three brothers, Charles, Robert and James Dykstra. She is survived by her sister Betty Hinnes, her sons, Peter, Douglas and Richard Crandall, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A private service and celebration of life will be held in the near future.
