Dorathy - Gentle Soul

My sister was the gentlest
always a calming voice
unwilling to raiser her tone
her countenance personified

She relished being with her quilters
Her quilts were cherished
Knowing her quilts remained in our family
Will always be a tribute to her talents

Her knowledge of gardening was always growing
She could name all her plants and treated them with care

My sister was an instrumentalist
The clarinet her instrument of choice
She passed the reed of choice on to her daughter Cory

From Lou Lawrence:

Many times we went to the Gazebo on the waterfront and listened to the old town band. Our old music teacher Mr. Hoover was the director. A special treat was you could see our log house across the bay where we grew up.

My sister enjoyed so many things. I always amazed me what a wonderful, talented sister we had. She's probaby playing for the angels as I finish this writing.

Dorathy with Dave from Dave's Killer Bread. She was so happy to meet him.
Such a beautiful lady. She made me feel like family. Always had motherly advice when I needed it. Always had motherly praise when I needed that too. I met her through Cory. I’ve known Cory since before we both had children. Our families have grown to know each other very well. My family will miss Dorathy very much. God must have something very special he needs done to pick such a lovely lady to go at this time. I know we will all see you again in a much better place so time my friend. Love you. Praying for Doug and the rest of the family during this crazy time of our world right now. Blessings from the Staff family, Susan Staff
