After showing Dorathy videos of her granddaughters, Haylie and Paige & her great grand daughter Aubrey, Rick took Dorathy's hand from his and placed it on his knee and said "Mom you can comfort me for awhile!" As she did, Rick and Lisa reminisced and laughed about their childhood memories and Dorathy peacefully slipped away. Personally, we imagine her smiling.

Our hearts are full because we know her last memory was of the three of us forever connected. Dorathy knew her story would live on forever in our hearts.❤ Her family will miss her dearly, especially her fierce love, her exuberance for life, adventures in nature, and whimsical storytelling.

If she could speak to us know, as a life long Star Trek fan, Dorathy might tell us:
"I love you all! Live long and prosper 🖖🏻"

Dorathy Jean Koopmeiners, 73 of Coventry Township, Ohio passed away on April 30, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Urban Koopmeiners & parents Samuel M Yergin and Doris R Yergin. She graduated from Coventry High School ('64) and worked as a librarian at Lakeview Elementary School.

Dorathy is survived by her children: Lisa (Todd) & Rick (Erica) and step-daughter Brenda (Tim) and her 5 grand children: Haylie, Jackson, Paige, Jessie & Tony …
