On April 1st, 2022, the world grew a little darker when it lost Donnen Schayer, age 49. Those that knew him would say he was honest, caring, and very empathic. He proudly dedicated more than half of his life to helping the voiceless by selflessly caring for animals in need. Not just animals though, he would always offer a helping hand to friends, coworkers, or little old ladies crossing the street. And those that knew him well also knew his creative and quirky sides. He loved working with his hands, and could tell you all the details of his latest DIY project. He always had a funny story or dad joke ready to make you laugh or cheer up the room. He adored his wife and loved spending his free time with her and their four fur babies. His big personality has left a lasting impression on many, and he will truly be missed.

Donnen is survived by the people that loved and admired him.
