Donna's obituary
Donna Sue Clark age 73 of Cedar Springs, MI, passed away Palm Sunday, March 29th, 2026. She was born December 8, 1952 in Chickasha, OK, the daughter of Warren and Joyce (Shepperd) Hacker. She grew up in Oklahoma and met her husband Dan at Jordan College (presently CTA) in Cedar Springs. She lived in Israel with her family for 12 years, teaching English as a second language during that time.
Donna was a unifying force wherever she went, bringing together people from all walks of life. Her unconditional love and dedication to others became the foundation upon which the new Cedar Springs Library stands. A place that may have never come to be without her belief in what community effort can build. She knew how to make people laugh and bring them together. She never met a stranger and had one of the most selfless and giving spirits of anyone you could ever meet.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Glenda Smith, and brother Paul Hacker. Surviving are her husband, Daniel whom she married August 26, 1972; children Daneille (married to Anthony) Borntrager, Shianne Clark, Joshua Clark, Tamar Clark; grandchildren, Oaklee, Clark, Jacob, and Abigail.
Viewing was held Friday April 3, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the K. E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, MI.
Funeral service held Saturday, April 4 at 11:00 a.m. at the same location.
Interment at Elmwood Cemetery Cedar Springs.
