Donna "Nonna" Stephenson gained her angel wings on October 14, 2022 at her home in Essex, MD. Donna was 84 years old.

Donna's life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were Blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint She left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that She stayed here.
Donna was talented and adventurous in many aspects of her life. She was a master of Nursing, an avid church goer and an amazing hugger. Not a day went by where Donna didn't talk about how much her children and family meant to her -- her family was arguably her most important achievement in life. She often said she lived every day for her family. And her final days she resided with her granddaughter in Maryland enjoying the nature and all of the water surrounding the area. Donna is survived by her children, Robert Lindsey and Sheila McPeek, elder brother Otis (and his children), Her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren as well as countless friends. Donna was predeceased by her parents Wayne A. and Mary Caroline (Coffin) Gaines. Three children Patrick J Lindsey, Michael J Lindsey and Sharron K Stephenson and one great grandson.
