Donna Kay Scott, age 61, passed away suddenly on March 10, 2019 from cardiovascular complications. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and daughter, and was a dear friend to many. Donna Kay was born in Dallas, TX to Ray and Linda Scott and lived in and around Dallas through most of her life, and later raised her children in McKinney and Melissa Texas. She was a great talent, spending years writing music, sharing her beautiful voice, and entertaining her friends and family with her gift of story telling and memory sharing. She is survived by her mother and stepfather David and Linda Griffin of Trinidad, Texas, husband Lonnie Taylor of Trinidad, Texas, her three beloved children Michael Scott and wife Courtney of Plano, Texas; Cina Miller and partner Misti of Jacksonville, Arkansas ; Jeremy Miller and wife Lori who reside in Canada,
her ex - husband Rick Miller of Jacksonville, Arkansas, with whom she continued to hold a close bond and friendship; her siblings Michael Ray Scott, Gary Lee Scott, 7 treasured grandchildren, 1 precious great grandchild, and many dear nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father Ray Scott, and her brother Joseph Wayne Scott.

A memorial service and celebration of life in her honor will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 1pm at Fellowship Pentecostal Church in Balch Springs, Texas, her cousin Reverend Larry Dickens officiating.

In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations be made in her memory to the Cardiovacular Research Foundation.
