Donna Rae Morse, age 90, loving mother and adoring wife to her late husband Lew Morse, was called home to our Lord the evening of December 14th after a courageous battle with dementia and breast cancer. Donna was born in 1934 in South Dakota and moved with her family to Vashon Island where she and her 5 siblings grew up in a small but beautiful community. Donna was influenced by her mother who loved Jesus with her whole heart to be a strong, hard-working, caring woman. She was always giving of her time to others and when she became a mother, passed that on to her children as well. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother to all. In her free time, Donna loved to go on bike rides, walks around her neighborhood and enjoy Edmonds beach as often as possible. She believed it was very important to stay active and loved to soak in God’s beauty. Donna will be greatly missed by her family and many more who have come to adore her over the years.

A celebration of life service is still being coordinated, but will be held at her home church in Edmonds at North Sound Church in January.  Details to follow.
