Donna's obituary
Donna Lynne Karr (née Kulseth), 68, of Ann Arbor, Michigan, passed away peacefully, surrounded with warm embrace by her family on March 7, 2026.
Donna was born in Detroit, Michigan. She moved to Ann Arbor as a young girl and lived with her beloved family there for the rest of her days. She was an enthusiastic University of Michigan Football fan, as the entire neighborhood could hear her cheering on football Saturday. Donna worked in the medical field and dedicated herself selflessly to others, both in her profession and in her home.
Donna was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who raised her children with a fierce, selfless determination to give them the best future. She instilled in them strong moral character, faith, and the values that would guide them throughout their lives. She found happiness in life’s simple moments and especially enjoyed gardening, reading, bird watching, crafting, and jewelry making.
Donna is survived by her husband, Karl Karr, along with her three children (Randall Karr, Michael Karr, and Amanda Barnes), sister Karen Thaemert, brother Tom Poole, her beloved uncle Richard Gibson, and six grandchildren, who will continue to carry forward her love, legacy, and positive impact on humanity.
Donna was truly a special gift to this world. She will be so deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her and who's lives she touched.
