Donna's obituary
Donna Lambert Hathcock of Euless passed away September 15, 2021 with her children and granddaughter by her side.
She was born to Mildred Lambert and the late Carey Lambert, February 11, 1949, in Abilene, TX. Donna grew up in Arlington, TX and attended Arlington High School.
Donna was an incredible artist and expressed herself in many mediums primarily painting with oils, acrylics, and watercolors. She was equally outstanding with all. She has won prizes at the State Fair of Texas for some of her paintings and was selected to show her works on the Texas state capitol grounds. Donna also created beautiful works in clay, stained glass, floral arrangements, wire sculptures and jewelry. Her art will always adorn the walls and homes of her family members and friends as priceless memories and pieces of true beauty.
Donna is survived by her two children, Heather Huff and Terry-Donn Hathcock and her grandchild, Taylor Hathcock. She is also survived by her mother, Mildred Lambert, and two sisters, Glenda Sloan of California and Judy Lowe of Burleson, Texas. Donna was predeceased by her father, Carey Lambert, and her grandson, Michael Chance Goss.
Donna was a movie enthusiast and would see a couple of movies a week, a lot of the time going by herself. It’s hard to say if it was the escapism each movie afforded or if it was simply the artistry of the film itself that made her such a fan.
