My sincerest condolences for your loss. Loosing a loved one is never easy. During such a difficult time it may be hard to find comfort but I would like to share with you a beautiful promise that God makes to mankind. Acts 24:15 tells us there is a beautiful hope which men can look forward to, it says “there is going to be a resurrection.” May this promise that will soon be fulfilled give you comfort and endurance till the day you can see Donna again.
I will truly miss Donna as I loved her very much. I met Lee first as we both attended Atlanta Christian College. I met Donna on the bus as we shared the same route and times going to and from our jobs. We got together at East Point Christian Church which I attended. I invited my best friend Carol to come one Sunday and we three started hanging out. Lee also sometimes came to East Point Christian and that's how he met Donna. I think my memory serves me right but with time and age who knows. I will always remember her smile, singing voice, and love of the Lord.
Donna and I were classmates throughout elementary school and high school. I truly love and respect Donna for the great Mother and Grandmother she was. She loved reading to her kids and doing great crafts and playing games with them. Most of all she shared her love of Jesus with them as well as to all her friends. I'm hoping to spend fun time with her in Heaven some day!
I met Donna when we were both in the first grade. Back in those days, we went through 7th grade in elementary school and then straight to high school in the 8th. We had every class together while in elementary school. We moved in different circles in high school, but then reconnected when she asked to borrow my wedding dress and we were reacquainted. I was honored to sing at her wedding. She was a sweet, sweet soul. Always thinking about others and sharing the Gospel with everyone. Through Facebook, I've come to know her children and grandchildren and I have no doubt they are feeling her absence in their lives. Just remember, you will see her and Rachel again and the next time it will be for eternity. I love you, Donna.
With great regret my husband and will not be able to make it. My fondest memories of sweet Donna is her beautiful singing. I just loved listening to her sing. And she had such warm loving hugs. She had a very sweet spirit. Although we lost touch with each others I’ve always kept her and Lee in my prayers and thoughts. ❤️
