Donna Jean Flenz

August 14, 1950 - September 12,2024

Donna was born in Appleton, Wisconsin on August 14, 1950, to Richard and Leone Flenz. She passed away in Tucson, AZ. where she resided, September 12, 2024 at the age of 74.

She is survived by her loving wife of 40 years, Joy Valerius and her beloved dogs Mabel, Bubba, and Banjo.

She was sister to Jan, Mary, Bonnie and Donald, and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She was cherished by Joy’s siblings, Patty, Margie, David, Arnie,Mary, and Joe, as well as by many friends.

By a miracle, she was clean and sober for 40 years. Donna was a gifted ceramic artist, valued friend, proud UofA Alumni, sports enthusiast, rabid Packer Fan, GO PACK! Fierce prankster with an infectious laugh. She adored dogs above all else.

Donna brought love, wisdom and mischief to the world, and to the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. She was a self proclaimed priestess in the Church of Dogs. Donna was the love of my life, and our dogs. The people that knew her loved her deeply. We will miss her fiercely and forever. A private celebration of her life was held at her home with friends and amongst her beloved dogs, on Sunday, September 22, 2024.
