I just bumped into an old coworker of mine recently, and got the news of Donna’s passing, I worked with Donna briefly at Ulta and when I heard the news I was so sad to know that such a bright and beautiful soul left so soon. She was truly one of the most sweet and compassionate people I’ve met, she was one of those people where you could tell she had God in her heart. I enjoyed hearing her stories that she shared from her life, and she always spoke on how much she loved and adored her family and grandbabies when we would talk about things at work. I remember her exact words “so many women don’t want to be called grandma and prefer to go by Gigi or other titles but I’m proud to be a GRANDma.” I thought that was beautiful, she took pride in being a grandmother and being a woman of God. She also spoke on her faith with the Lord. I know she’s up there doing the Lord’s work and watching her family. So thankful in the short time I got to know her. I looked up to her and aspire to be like her in some ways, she was truly one of a kind. My condolences to all her family and friends, she had such a big heart.
