Donna Cash, 72, of Athens, GA, passed away on August 26, 2022 after a brief illness surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Donna, was born on April 20th, 1950 to Charles and Gladys Dinwiddie in Franklin KY, and immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. Donna went on to graduate from Seneca High School in Louisville KY in 1968. After graduating from high school, Donna moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she met Troy Cash in 1969 and the two were inseparable from that point on. Donna and Troy were married for over 50 years and had 2 children, Brent and Andrew.

Donna was a fiercely dedicated mother to her boys, raising both of them to go on to accomplish great things. Family came first and was above all else to Donna, a value she instilled in all those around her. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.  She is survived by her husband Troy;  son Brent and his wife Monica with their children: Blue, Brady, and Maisy; son Andrew and his wife Tiffany with their daughter Dakota, brother Wayne and his wife Carol; and sister Gina.    In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Donna’s name to The American Cancer Society.   A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, September 10th at Norcross First United Methodist Church at 2500 Beaver Ruin Rd, Norcross, GA 30071.  Private interment to follow at a later date.  Visitation will start at 11 am
