Donata Raebig, age 90, passed away on Sunday, January, 11, 2026 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, Illinois. She was born on November 15, 1935, in Scranton, PA, the daughter of the late Jerome and Mary (nee Wisniewski-Vesneski) Barraia.

Donata had a heart of pure gold. Her door was always open, and so was her kitchen, welcoming anyone in need of comfort with a warm plate of homemade spaghetti and meatballs. She …
