Donald Winston Wright, age 75 of Orleans, Indiana passed away on March 3, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Don was born to Julius Lee Wright and Juanita Letha Wilson on November 11, 1947, in Houston, Texas. Don married Richalyn Lester on May 25, 1991, in Killeen, Texas. Donald served in the Marine Corps for 10 years and was ranked as an E5 Sergeant. Donald did 3 tours in Vietnam. Donald worked as a deputy in the state of Washington for Fort Townsend Police Department. Donald was a truck driver for 20+ year and enjoyed doing this with his late wife until he retired. Richalyn. After retirement Donald enjoyed traveling, fishing, cooking, candle making, and doing puzzles. He also enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys having a great season until playoffs. Donald was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Donald was proceeded in death by his wife Richalyn Wright, and two grandchildren. Donald survived his 7 children Ronnie, Cooper (Dee) Moon, Wendy (Brian) Burton, Larry Moon, Ressie (Kevin Albin) Moon, Will (Rose) Moon, Rubyann (Jerry) Powell. Donald survived 24 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and 2 dogs, Boo and Sugar.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 6th at Syria Christian Church, in Orleans, IN at 1:00pm. 2444 N County Road 300 E Orleans, IN 47452
