Don and I worked together for several years, he always took extra time mentoring and sharing knowledge if needed. Although most of our interactions  were about some surprise problem, Don always sought a fair outcome for all involved, followed facts, and wasn't prone to making assumptions. I never once heard him say an unkind or unprofessional word. Always patient and encouraging, I learned much from Don over the years that I'll gladly pay forward. We'll miss him dearly and will remember him with respect.

Don was always helpful and a bright light during his time of illness. When he felt his worst, he still tried to be his best. I have nothing but the fondest memories of him. He will be truly missed!
