I read somewhere that if a person has five "best friends" he is a rich man.  I consider Don one of my best friends and will miss him dearly.  Sorry that we cannot join in his celebration of life, but know that he (and all of you, his family) are in our prayers. RIP my friend.

We will certainly miss all of the wonderful conversations with Don during our visits to Colorado and Arizona over the past several years. He loved to reminisce about his relationship with my father and passed on to me his love for family and travel.
Grandpa would always have a handcrafted pen in his shirt pocket. Whenever meeting someone new, he would immediately gift them with one of his pens.

  • Thank you for notifying me of Don's death.  My wife and I were both stationed at FEWarren AFBin WY.  That is where we met Don.  My wife was an 1srLt and I was an A1C that worked in Personnel with Don.   I didn't socialize with him but we worked together everyday. You have my deepest sympathy.
