With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Donald Schweitzer Jr., a kind and loving figure who touched the lives of many. Born on October 21, 1973, Donald left us too soon on July 26, 2023.

Donald left behind a lasting legacy of kindness, and his personality was best characterized as loving, helpful, and caring. His impact on those around him was immense, filling their lives with warmth and compassion every day.

Donald leaves behind his beloved nieces, Jessica Cottrill and Kevin Cottrill and Denise Updike, and his adored nephew, Robert Updike. He also leaves behind two daughters Angel Mcgonagle and Destiny Mcgonagle. The bond they shared was nothing short of precious, and their uncle's spirit will undoubtedly continue to live on within them. Despite the great sadness brought about by his passing, there is comfort in knowing that Donald is now reunited with his loved ones who preceded him in death.

Donald was predeceased by his brother, Lonnie Schweitzer, his sister, Christi Schweitzer, his mother, Erlene Rodger, his father, Donald Schweitzer Sr., and his wife, Cynthia Schweitzer. He was also predeceased by his cherished grandparents, Lonnie and Kathleen Updike. Their memories are etched in Donald's life, and he carried their teachings and love with him until the end.

A Celebration of Life for Donald will be held on August 19, 2023, at 8:00 PM in Barberton. In these trying times, we remember Donald for the love and care he tirelessly showered on those around him. His memories are a comforting reminder of the beautiful person he was, leaving a void that will be impossible to fill.

May Donald rest in eternal peace and his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
