Donald was a fan of the San Francisco 49ers and the Oakland A's, and cherished local spots like Cookin-Pot, Denny's, Jim Boys Tacos, and Starbucks. His favorite foods included Subway Philly cheese steak sandwiches, and he enjoyed drinks such as Pepsi and coffee. The Bible was his favorite book, and he had an appreciation for paintings and drawings as art forms.
With the mountains as his preferred vacation destination, Donald also found solace in the color blue. Described as a good listener, one of his greatest accomplishments was finding God, which he considered a pivotal moment in his life.
