Uncle Donald was such a kind person with such a welcoming smile. He is surely missed. Prayers and blessings for Auntie Monica, Tanya, Judy-Anne and family.

We celebrate the life and legacy of a legend, Sir Donald Murdock! When we first moved to Houston, his daughter Tanya welcomed us without hesitation and with so much love that by the time we met her parents it was easy to understand. This is a family where LOVE is an action word. I’ve watched Mr Murdock look on lovingly as we came together ever so often at the Sterling’s home to ‘hol a vibes’. He didn’t need to do karaoke or be in the spotlight but was quite content to lead from behind the scenes ensuring that food and merriments were all in order. We would wait patiently for his signature curry chicken and I find myself on days taken back to those precious moments. Rest easy Sir Murdock! You’ve lived a full and impactful life. You were a devoted Dad to two and a honorable father to many! We love you and stay strong Ms Monica🙏🏾

Ms. Mons, my heart is with you. I keep remembering those gatherings around the pits at LaRana, Salida de Sol and Rancheria - much jollification! I hope those guys are not getting into too much trouble up there! My sincere condolences to you and all the family.
With love.

My condolences to the Family....I met Donald in Houston in late 2004 through Monica and Barbara as we grew up in May Pen, Clarendon, JA. I relocated to Florida in 2004 but we remained in contact and when they relocated to Orlando, from time to time we would catch up either in Orlando or while they visited with Barbara, in Pembroke Pines.
It was a pleasure to review the beautiful family pictures and we can all see how happy Donald was with his Family and his Grand Children especially Eric, who is so attached to both Monica and Donald.
I wish for Monica and the rest of the Family in this their time of loss, the strength to overcome their grief and to take refuse in knowing that Donald is in a better place, free from all pain and grief with our Heavenly Father. Just want to leave the link for a fall back song in those moments .... the soul searching rendition of Psalm 34 by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Chior....
