A year has already passed. 365 days, 4 seasons. So much has happened in the world in such a short amount of time where it seems like it has been a while, but still feels like yesterday. We had the chance to gather and celebrate his life and give him a proper memorial in Yosemite in June. The weekend could not have been more perfect. We love you and miss you every day and you will forever be in our hearts.

We appreciate everyone's love and support and sharing of memories on the site. All that have visited are part of his larger family.

We have made arrangements to honor Don in Yosemite National Park. His name will be registered in the Yosemite Chapel’s Book of Memories noting Yosemite as his final resting place. We will be doing this in a private ceremony.

Don passed away on January 21, 2021 at the age of 70. He was a loving family man who is survived by his five children, six grandchildren, one great-grandson, and his sisters Sandy, Cheryl, and Celese.

He was caring, giving and would drop everything to be there when he was needed. His home and heart were always open, as he would say “Mi casa es su casa”. He had a soft spot for animals and …
