The mother of their children, Jayne, and families Philip & Connie McEwen, Adam & Lori McEwen, Michele & Christopher Lightsey. Grandchildren Jena, Brooke, Jacklyn, Nicholas, Kylie, Emily, VanReddon, and Gabriel. His stepdaughters Melissa and Rebecca and step- grandchildren Trent, Aurora, Lillian, Kieran all brought him immeasurable joy and pride. His grandchildren were his heart, and through them, his spirit lives on. Donald’s lessons in character, resilience, and compassion remain etched in their hearts, guiding them every day.

A man of simple pleasures, Donald found happiness in the everyday moments—savoring a cold Yuengling, watching NCIS or a classic John Wayne film, riding his motorcycle, or mowing the lawn with quiet satisfaction. He was always ready to lend a hand, never hesitating when family or friends needed him.

His true passion lay in the barn, where he spent countless hours working on cars. With a natural gift for understanding both the mechanics and electronics of automobiles, Donald built a thriving automotive business that spanned four decades. More than a career, it was a labor of love that supported his family and showcased his dedication and skill.

Donald will be remembered not only for his craftsmanship but for his character. He was a man of great heart—caring, generous, and always willing to help. Whether fixing a neighbor’s car or offering a listening ear, he embodied the spirit of service and friendship.

His greatest achievements were not measured in business success alone, but in the enduring relationships he cultivated. Donald earned the respect of his peers and the love of his community, leaving behind a network of friendships that speak volumes about the man he was.

Donald McEwen’s legacy is one of love, humility, and quiet strength. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him, and his influence will continue to inspire future generations. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
