What a wonderful and loving brother and brother -in-law. Family was everything. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Lowell Johnson

Don was my big brother and life-long friend. I was shocked and terribly saddened at the news of his sudden passing, but like others have said, I know that he is with Jesus now and that knowledge gives me hope that I will see him again. I was not at all surprised to hear from his family that Don was an awesome dad, grand dad and "pop" to all with whom he spent so much time. Some have said that he was born to be a grandfather because he was so good at it, but I would like to suggest that he was so good at it because he loved his family so much and unselfishly gave them every bit of his life. I want you all to know that Don was also a great brother and an outstanding example of what a man can be if he gives his heart to God and devotes himself to his wife and family. Don certainly set the bar high, and few men have been able to come close to what he accomplished with his life. He leaves an incredibly large hole in all our lives. My prayers and with all his family members.
