[Donald Robert Hugill], [83], of [Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta], passed away suddenly on [December 28, 2021] after complications following hip surgery.

[Don] was born on [November 21, 1938] to [Cecil and Isabell Hugill] in [city of Lashburn, Saskatchewan]. After graduating from [Lloydminster High School] in [1960], [he] went on to study [Automotive Mechanics] and completed his studies in 1962.

After graduation, [he] landed [his] first job at [General Motors, Fort McMurry], kicking off a career spanning many years along with being a grain and cattle farmer for a number of years as well.

In [1971], [he] married [Linda Leslie], going on to have [one] child, [Jacqui]. The marriage later ended in 1982

After retiring in [2005], [Don] spent [his] time [helping his daughter, Jacqui and son in law, Dan on their horse training and boarding facility, attending horse shows, helping care for his grandchildren, Chase and Parker, and playing online solitaire or slots on his computer].

[Don] was predeceased by [Cecil (father), Isabell (mother), Edward Hugill (brother| and Ernest Hugill (brother)]. [He] is survived by [Jacqui Hugill-Girard (daughter), John Hugill (twin brother) and Gloria Musich (sister)].

Funeral Service to be held January 17, 2002 at 2pm at Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Sherwood Park, Alberta.
