My heart goes out to you, Don, as I lost my adult son in 2016 to cancer. I pray you will have the Lord's comfort during this time of sadness after losing an adult son.

So many stories I could tell about my dad. I will start by saying my dad and I had a rocky relationship when I was a teenager, he was so strict and I had a hard time with that so I rebelled a lot but he always loved me, even during my many groundings. Lol We also had a great time together, we would play video games for hours or go outside and practice ball or hit the batting cages for hours no matter how tired he was after a long day of work. When I got older we really connected and began a daily phone call to each other talking about basketball and soccer. He always wanted to know how the team did each game and wanted specific details. Near the end him and I would talk, as my sister says we had therapy sessions, and he opened a lot with what he wanted from his daughters and wife once he was gone. So dad I hope we have made you proud as we have/are trying to honor all your wishes. I love you so much and you were NEVER a burden, it was always an honor to take care of you at the end.

Donnie was my cousin and will miss him so much. When I would go down to my cousins house on the weekends as a kid he was my best buddy In the whole wide world you will be missed so much my cousin I love you. Rest In Peace.
