Donald Clifford Gilks Sr., aged 76, passed away on April 25, 2024, in Livermore Falls, Maine after a two and a half year battle with cancer. He was born on April 17, 1948. Don was born to Edward Gilks and Mary McKellick Gilks. Don was a jack of all trades in his younger days. Everything from automotive to carpentry. Don enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He use to enjoy fishing and hunting before having health issues. He was a wonderful grandfather and a kind soul. He is predeceased by his son, Tony Gilks. He is survived by his Daughter Crystal and husband Todd of Livermore Falls, Granddaughters Tia Hafford and Partner CJ of Winthrop, Andrea Hafford of Livermore Falls, Angelique Hafford of Livermore Falls, and His ex wife Sherry Lavigne and Husband Nelson of Winthrop. Sherry was a very good friend to him and they were very close after divorcing. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters. I love you dad and will miss you until we meet again
