>Donald Eugene Garnett, 87, of Pahrump, NV, passed away on February 08, 2026, after a long battle with Dementia.

>Donald was born on November 19, 1938, to Charles and Twila Garnett of Kansas City, MO. Don joined the US Navy and served from 1956 to 1962. In 1964, Don married the love of his life, Marilynn, and remained faithful to her until her death.  Together they had 3 sons, Donald Jr., Daniel and Devin. 

Don found love again and married Sharon in 2004.  Together they shared companionship and care.  They moved to Pahrump, NV where he spent his final years.

Don enjoyed playing baseball, golfing, bowling, karaoke and fishing.  He was always happy coaching his sons' sports teams and cheering from the stands. His warmth, humor and zest for life left a lasting impression on all who knew him.  He will be deeply missed.

Don is survived by his 3 sons, 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services are Thursday April 23rd, 2pm at Riverside National Cemetery.  A Celebration of Life will be held following the service at the VFW located at 22616 Alessandro Blvd., Moreno Valley, CA 92553.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Moreno Valley VFW.
