We regretfully announce the passing of Donald E. Byers, who passed away surrounded by his loved ones on August 29, 2022 after a difficult battle with lymphoma. He is finally at rest. He is survived by his loving wife Linda of 19 years and children, Donnie Byers (Beth), Jennifer Olsson (Jeremy), Tiger Gleason (Christina) & Angela Brock (Robert). He was also survived by 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He will be forever loved and forever remembered. Don was known as the go-to transmission mechanic. He raced stock cars on asphalt in his youth. There will be a memorial service at Flanders Powell Funeral Home in Pembroke, GA on Thursday September 1st at 11am. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make donations to the American Cancer Society.
