Donald Lee Boyer Sr. 76, of Birdsboro, PA passed away in the Reading Tower Health Hospital on August 30, 2020 where he had been a patient since August 14, 2020. Donald was born on April 21, 1944 in Pottstown, PA. He was the son of the late Douglass Boyer and Edith (Alting) Sitlinger, wife of the late John Sitlinger. Donald leaves behind his wife, of 51 years, Florence, Birdsboro, PA. He is also survived by his daughter Dawn Stout of Reading, PA engaged to Richard Bucks. He also is survived by his son Donald Jr., with whom he resided, engaged to Billie Jo Heimbach. He also has two grandchildren, Krystal Tazouti and Brandon Boyer, both of Birdsboro. There is also one great grandson Adam.
Donald has two brothers, Douglass Boyer, Georgia and the late James Boyer.

He worked at Beacon Container for 32 years as a machine set up man before retiring in 2009. He also delivered the Reading Eagle for many years. Donald loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and his great grandson. He also enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino. He enjoyed pitching for men’s softball leagues throughout the years.

Arrangements are by Dengler Funeral Home in Birdsboro, PA. Memorial Service will be at a later date and scheduled by the family.
