I just found out the shocking news and wish I could be there for you. I have wonderful memories of Don as I introduced him to our electronic tech department and share tons of memories of working with him everyday for years till he retired. We shared golfing, lunches, even practiced his guitar for me to hear!! He was like a brother to me. He was the wonderful and caring person working at BI for years.
I was dumbfounded when I heard the news here at the office of Don's passing. He was always passionate about his work and eager to dote on his family and his beloved Wyoming Cowboys football team. Sorry for your loss.
We are thinking of you and your family with sympathy. Iām remembering Donās encouragement with our Red Cross activities. He was a nice person. I hope to hear more memories of him in time.
I am saddened to hear about Donās passing. I worked with him at BI several years ago. He was always so nice, funny, and had a gentle spirit. Prayers for everyone he leaves behind. See you on the flip side Don Barnes! You will be greatly missed.šļøšš¼š¹
One of the things Donny would love to do when we were living in Dallas back in the 80's was to come out to the bar I worked at, at D.F.W. Airport drink free drinks and mingle with the Intrnational travelers. Most notably was the owner of the Dallas Cowboys at the time "Tex Shram" who had a solid gold chunky bracelet with "Tex" spelled out in Diamonds! And of course Tex was drinking double bourbons neat. Really nice guy!

I knew Don from work a long time ago, and I started on the same day as Carlotta back in 1991.Ā You guys were such a great couple, and I really enjoyed talking with both of you.Ā I am very sorry for your loss.
