I have many fond memories of Don. He always had the best taste in music and would bring home albums from bands that usually became quite famous. He would usually discover these before they became completely mainstreamed . Early Beatles, Aqualung by Jethro Tull, Who's Next by the Who, Early Cat Stevens. My siblings and I would spend countless hours listening to these albums while we were over seas visiting him in the summers. He also would bring home lots of music from famous newer musicals that were coming out.... Hair, Rocky Horror Picture Show and many more! All these Songs run through my mind often and remind me of childhood with a father that was always on the cutting edge of various art forms. He focused on exposing us to museums of all kinds when we would travel. He also would take us to plays and musicals when we were traveling with him which were very memorable experiences and gave us all an appreciation of the arts! I think myself and my siblings will always hold these experiences dear and they were key in forming our interests and personalities. We had amazing summers traveling with him to various destinations which helped open our minds to the differences of various cultures and formed a lasting respect for people of all creeds and colors. Thank you Don for giving the gift of the many experiences you provided for us. And thank you to Tyler for creating this page to post about our memories and about Don's life!
