To Don, You have been such a good friend for over 25 years. I, Nita and Tom,(my kids) miss your visits and help with little things here at home. I think of the OLD red wagon you made to look like new that helped me a lot around the yard in the days that I could still work out in the yard. Now, as you knew , I sit and crochet in my reclining . I finally have an eletric wheelchair so can take care of alittle I need when I am home alone.
I last talked with you in early May. Then four four months your phone did an odd message. After four months Nita finally found what had happened. Of course we regretted that we could't see you when you were so ill. You always came to visit me when I was down.
My family and I miss you.

We bought Dr. Shirley's place in 2016 and one of the first people we met was Don, who came by to introduce himself and let us know he'd be happy to leave a trailer for us in the fall for our leaves, which he'd then haul away for us too, just as he'd done for Dr. Shirley. After that, he came by frequently and we got to know him and his sense of humor and general outlook on life. He helped us in so many ways and always had a quip or funny story to share when he'd stop by. We have missed him since we moved from Pomeroy and we're sure glad we had the opportunity to know him!
