I just heard of Coach Reyes' passing.  He was a great coach for us Knaves at CLC (CLU) back in the early 70's, always pushing us to get better with care and concern.  I am so sorry for our loss, and send my deepest condolences and sympathy.
We are so sorry to learn of your loss. Please know you have our deepest sympathy.

I was lucky to have Coach Reyes both as a coach and as someone who gave me good advice, at Hillside Jr High AND at Royal High. He also introduced me to Chicago's "I'm a Man" and "All Along the Watchtower" and some other rockin' jams that he used to blast in the weight room at Royal. He and Coach U were among my favorites. RIP Coach Reyes, you rocked it and you were always someone to look up to
Dearest Sally, it has been many moons ago since we have seen each other, but the memories still ring true. I just learned of your Husbands passing, and wanted to send my condolences to you and your Family.  I hope you can find comfort in the love you two shared for so many years to pull you through this difficult time. I am so sorry for your loss.  Marcy McWilliams from LVN class Simi Valley, California

A good man who led by example for all to emulate; a GREAT friend who was ALWAYS there to help you no matter what.  God broke the mold when he made Don "Donnie" Reyes.  My sincere condolences to the one and all.  Very Respectfully, Thomas W. Farmer
I’m very sorry to hear Sally of the passing of your beloved husband Don. Dennis would speak of him often and enjoyed their conversations. Praying strength and comfort over you and your family ❤️

My condolences to Don's family. He seemed  always to be thinking about one or all of you! Easy-going and friendly with a funny remark was what I recall about Don. He will truly be missed!

Coach Reyes thought my son how to work out. Coach trusted the green machine when his son started playing. Always helped out and was never negative. Coach was a positive influence on our team. He taught our team to hit the ear hole. In 1986 he steped in to coach the wrestling team at royal so it would have a season. Coach was a great man with a great family. He never compared me to my brothers and that’s what I liked the most.
I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Coach Reyes. Throughout my time at Royal and even through college, Coach was always there to support me with words of encouragement.  He was a great man that had a large impact on my life, and I am forever grateful for all of the lessons I learned from him. RIP Coach.
