Don Peters of Van Buren, Arkansas, passed away on August 2, 2023. He was 84 years old.
Don was born on August 19, 1938, to Noel and Grace Peters in Mountainburg, Arkansas. Don graduated from Mountainburg High School, where he pitched on the baseball State Championship team of 1957. Don attended the College of the Ozarks and Arkansas Teachers College (UCA) on a baseball scholarship where he earned his degree in Education. It was at …
