Dominick's obituary

Dominick F. Salafia passed away January 28, 2019 in Yuma, Arizona, the place he called home with his wife Romena. He was born on December 8, 1958 in Detroit, Mi to Frank and Anna Salafia growing up in Roseville and East Detroit. Dominick earned his degree in Electrical Engineering and moved his talents to Yuma, Arizona to work for the US Military at the Yuma Proving Grounds. He then turned his talents to teaching, becoming a Mathmatics Professor at Arizona Western College and also taught at Yuma Union High School. Dominick loved to fish in the Colorado, ride out into the desert and share his good humor with his family and friends, especially his grandson Luis. He is survived by his wife Romena, daughter Maria and her son, Luis, and his siblings Joseph and Lynn (nee Stevens), sister Fran and Nate, sister Grace, sister Mary and John Myer. Dominick was fiercely loyal to his family and will truly be missed. We know he's reunited with those he loved, playing a mean game of Nine Ball.
