I remember Dominick from YPG.  He was a good friend.
I only just found out about Dominics death and must this was heartbreaking, I remember he would give all the answers to my math tests and crack some hilarious jokes. I often wondered how he was doing. I am deeply saddened for his passing and wish the family my deepest condolences.
I just learned of Dominick's passing, having left the Yuma area a few years ago.  Dominick had a way of making everything make sense.  He mentored me on several occasions & gave insight into thinking differently but effectively.  I will be forever grateful for his attention to details & always providing encouragement.  He was definitely one of a kind & missed greatly.  Amy

I remember Dominik from YPG. We worked in the KOFA side. He was one of my supervisors. I appreciate all he did for me.  He made a big difference in my life.

One 4th of July when four of us were partying at his apt., because Fireworks were not allowed in Yuma I brought a can of black powder, piled it up in the street in front of his place and lit it. There was a soft but loud BUFH followed by a huge mushroom cloud, that chose to float right over the Fire Station across the street. We nervously laughed and shuttered ourselves inside, expecting the police to bust us (not likely). Shortly a ladder truck cruised by slowly and we freaked, but shared much laughter and adrenaline that night.
There were many other less dramatic times of fun we share in and around the Site 4 Telemetry Bldg at YPG.
Dominick was ALWAYS a joy to be around. He routinely made me feel special because of the ease of his giving of friendship. The secret is that Dom did that for everyone who came into his orbit. He was brilliant, kind to a fault, brave, confident, and a steadfast friend even through the years when I called from Tenneessee. Dominick never forgot me, and I shall do the same. He changed my life for the better and I miss him so much it hurts. He left us all far too soon.
I wish you well my friend, and hope your journey takes you toward the "second star the right, and straight on till morning."
(These words by J.M. Barrie are far better than mine.)

Four of us were chilling on a 4th of July evening, chilling & being goofy. Since it was nearly impossible to find fireworks ni Yuma, I had conspired to empty a can of black powder on the street just outside his place and set it off. It made a soft, deep 'tharump' and created the best giant white mushroom cloud ever, which happened to float right over the Fire Station across the street. We were panicing, looking out the blinds to see if the cops were on the way to take us in when a ladder truck slowly rolled by, presumably looking for the culprits. In fact they were probably just cruising, but you couldn't tell us that. Later we laughed till we nearly peuked. I was always on the verge of getting Dom in trouble like that. I LOVE DOMINICK!! We were buddies, to my great benefit and honor.
BTW - not sure about the year I quoted
