Domingo's obituary
Domingo Epifanio Ramirez Sr, 83, of Lansing Mi, passed away on February 9th, 2022, after a long battle with anorexia caused by Covid-19. Domingo was born on January 29, 1939 to Pedro Ramirez and Rosa Perez ( Ramirez) in Corpus Christi, TX. Domingo did not complete school, but instead worked in the fields with his family. He met his wife Maria in 1958 and soon married February 1961. They worked in fruit and cotton fields and soon moved to Lansing, Mi. They went on to have 4 children ( Rosie, Domingo Jr, Gloria and Tony). Domingo worked with oil pipelines for the BWL, he worked for the E.H Ward company for around 35 years before retiring in 2001. In his retirement, he worked with his wife as housekeepers at the Mcree House of Mclaren Hospital. In the 70s, Domingo was part of a mens bowling league at the Royal Scott. He enjoyed working with his hands, working outside, spending time with his children outdoors, having parties with family and friends. In his later years, he enjoyed spending time with his family, barbecuing, fishing, walking, and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Domingo was a very hard worker throughout his life, he was a family man and he will be very missed by family and those around him. Domingo died comfortably and peacefully surrounded by his wife and close relatives.
He has preceeded his parents, brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife Maria, daughters, Rosie and Gloria, his sons, Domingo Jr and Tony, and his many grandchildren and great grand children.
