Dolores's obituary

Dolores "Dodo" Sisneros, cherished by all who knew her, passed away on March 14, 2025. Born on March 28, 1950, Dolores, affectionately known as Dodo, imbued every moment of her 74 years with care, kindness, and an unwavering zest for life. A woman of great compassion, and her legacy of generosity and benevolence continues to inspire.

Survived by her beloved niece, Ella Quinones, Dolores is predeceased by her parents, Richard and Nora Sisneros, and her dear sisters, Connie and Patsy Sisneros. Despite the sadness that accompanies such a loss, we remember Dolores not with sorrow but through a kaleidoscope of vibrant memories and shared experiences that shaped her life.

As a young woman, Dolores graduated from elementary school in 1962 and from middle school in 1964. She had an enduring love of classic items; from music tracks of the 1960s and old-school movies, to her preferred colour, red, and her favourite brew, tea.

Best described as sassy, kind, and welcoming, Dolores exuded a warmth that drew people towards her. Her philosophy was simple, yet profound - "Always give to those who need it most". This adage remains the heartbeat of her enduring legacy of care and kindness.

As we bid farewell to Dolores, she leaves behind a void that can never be filled. The radiance of her spirit will continue to shine in our hearts forever. Her values, ideals, and the lessons she imparted will be treasured by her family and friends, who will miss her deeply.
