Perfect Summer memories 2019

Cal. I don’t know why I looked Delores up on the internet. Maybe because I had not heard from her this Christmas. It is with great sadness that I found her death notice
Bootie and I became friends in 4th grade. Sharing a friendship that went through school and beyond. We both had November birthdays and the joke was that I was still older as mine is the 13th
It was wonderful to read her obituary and see the extraordinary life that she had, especially her connections with family.
My best wishes to you knowing how hard it has been to lose your soul mate.

On behalf of Elaine Montague Mailliard:
She was my friend for over 70 years and it is so hard to think she has gone on to a better place. I am so glad that we had a little reunion several years ago down in Naples with our friend Judy and getting together was like we had never left each other. She was fun and feisty and always love to call me every April Fool's Day and tried to pull a prank on me and most of the time she succeeded. What a girl and she will be greatly missed. Her husband was the greatest and she loved him dearly. Thank you for posting these wonderful pictures. Sending love to your entire family

Post on behalf of Jane Wilson Thomas McDuffie:
Bootie was a wonderful person. She was always full of so much energy and we loved working together on our class reunions.
I can speak for Bladensburg's classmates to say that she will be missed a lot, especially by her class of 1959. Bootie and I never stopped being friends and reunion buddies. Yes another angel is watching over us. Rest in peace, Bootie 🕊️💔🙏🏻❤️
