It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of Dolores "Dee" Bingham, on February 15, 2026. Born on December 27, 1943, Dee was a force of nature, a tenacious and spirited woman. Her unforgettable personality, which was best described as strong-willed, feisty, persistent, honest, dependable, and generous, left a lasting impression on all those who knew her. Dee was a woman who loved to travel, enjoyed life to the fullest, didn't settle for less than the best, and never missed having her dessert (especially chocolate and ice cream) twice a day. Dee is survived by her loving granddaughter, Stephanie McCain, who will remember her with fondness, countless memories, and admiration. Dee was a role model, a support system, and mentor to Stephanie, sharing with her life’s most valuable lessons such as "Never, never, never give up" and "always ask for what you want, the worst that could happen is they say no, so it never hurts to ask". Dolores gave her granddaughter countless memorable experiences and the courage and inspiration to chase her dreams and never settle. She is also survived by her two sons, 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and her cat Missy. Dee was a long time friend to Fr. Santos "Sunny" Castillo who brought her so much joy, laughter, and love and who played a major role in her life and care over the years. She will leave a lasting impression with him that will not be forgotten. She was a devoted member of St. Michael's Catholic church and volunteered her time to the parish as well as organizations such as Loaves and Fishes and People's Resource. She was a long time neighbor to Ginger Vessey and her family for over 30 years and will be remembered fondly by them. In her professional life, Dee soared high. She was a true go-getter, outperforming 70 male colleagues to clinch the title of the number one salesperson in her company with only an 8th grade education. This accomplishment was a testament to her determination, strength, and ability to defy the odds. She was surrounded by her family and friends (her great grandchildren Josie and Lucy, Robert, Debra, Fr. Sunny, Ginger, Patty, Steve and many more) who prayed with her, spent time with her and made sure she knew how much she was loved and appreciated to the very end. The visitation for Dolores will be held on February 21, 2026, from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at St. Michael Catholic Church in Wheaton, mass will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. followed by the burial at St. Michael's Cemetery. It will be a solemn occasion to remember Dee, her indomitable spirit, her enduring legacy of perseverance, her vibrant personality and love for life. Don't be afraid to wear her favorite color (hot pink) to celebrate her in the life she had and her bright, bold, colorful personality. Instead of flowers, a fund has been set up to assist the family with funeral expenses at https://everloved.com/life-of…. Contributions are greatly appreciated during this time. Dee will be greatly missed but will live on in the hearts of all those she touched with her one of a kind spirit and vivacious personality. Her enduring legacy will continue to inspire us all and will not be forgotten.
