Dolores was born on January 11, 1928 to Walter and Sophie (Jarmolowicz) Mayszak in Detroit, Michigan. She attended St. Stanislaus schools and following school she became a Manager at Sanders Chocolates, where she met the love of her life, Henry (Hank) Becker. They were married on July 23rd, 1949 and in 1951 they settled in Oak Park where they raised their family and Hank became the well-known owner of Hank’s Barber Shop. In 2002 they moved to Howell, Michigan. Dolores and Hank were married for over 67 years until Hank’s passing in 2017. They were very active members of Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Oak Park and she also loved gardening, bird watching and traveling. 

Dolores is survived by her three daughters,  Audrey Becker, Kathryn (Robert) Wlosinski and Christine (Brian) Omerod; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a sister and a brother. 

Cremation has taken place by Generations Funeral & Cremation Services and a private memorial service will be held at Our Mother of Perpetual Help (formerly Our Lady of Fatima) at a future date.
