On July 28, 2023, our family lost our first boy, companion, and guardian. 

Dogmeat’s name derived from a good boy (pop culture reference) and even when he was a stubborn, farty, and stinky boy, he was the most loyal, funny, and loving boy. Even when he wasn’t always the best dog out there, he was the best dog we could’ve hoped for.

Dogmeat (or Bully like his grandma used to call him), loved oversized inflated rubber balls, cheese, Takis flavored beef jerky, butt scratches, chasing laser pointers, and taking naps with his sister. 

After almost 9 years Dogmeat took his final breath shortly after the long trip making it to his new home.

We love you, Dogmeat.
