Dixie Thompson, 81, of Satellite Beach, FL, passed away on August 14, 2022 after a long battle with a chronic illness. Dixie was born on May 28, 1941 to Granville and Helen Rion in Dayton, Ohio. After graduating from high school in 1959, she moved to Florida. She landed her first job at Pan American World Airways in Cocoa Beach. While working there, she met her husband, Jim Thompson, and they were wed in 1961. …
