Dirk Craver was born August 20th 1957 in Wichita Kansas, to his parents Athol Ira Craver and Vera JoAnn Craver. He grew up with two sisters, his older sister Julee and his younger sister Lorri. They moved to Colorado in 1965, where he graduated from Heritage High School in 1975.
He married Kathrine Stenger on June 7th, 1987 on the property of their soon to be home in Bailey, Colorado. They were married for 26 years and raised five children together.

He attended college at the University of Northern Colorado in 1976 where he studied Art until 1977 when he decided to become an apprentice at a dental laboratory instead. He learned how to make crowns and became a dental laboratory technician. He also apprenticed to learn how to build homes, as well as taught himself to draw plans for those homes. He was the architect and drew all the plans for the spec homes he built. He continued to work in both fields until the economy collapsed in 2008 where his primary job was then being a dental laboratory technician. Even though he continued to build small projects in his spare time. He loved to work with his hands and was very creative, and made jewelry as a hobby. He became a Christian as a young child and rededicated himself to the Lord as an adult. He attended church regularly, as well as men’s groups and studies. Believing in Jesus Christ as his personal savior.

Survived by his children David Craver, Mayryanna Craver, Hannah and Jake Hamilton, Faith and Dustin Minter, and Moriah Craver. His grandchildren Nicole and James Craver. His Mother Vera JoAnn Craver. His sisters Julee and Vic Sparks and Lorri and Bernie O’Connel. As well as his many nieces and nephews and extended family.
Predeceased by his father Athol Ira Craver, October 19, 2009.
