Dino's obituary
Dino W. Newring was born on May 23rd, 1956 in Pittsburgh, PA. He was the son of the late Eunice and Tommy G. Newring Sr. He was the fifth child born to his parents and had fond memories of growing up with his five siblings.
Dino attended Madison Elementary, Herron Hill Jr. High, and Schenley High School, where he graduated in 1974. Upon graduation, he attended Dean School of Technology. Dino had a strong work ethic and worked at WESCO, as a Warehouse Supervisor for over 40 years. Dino also started a cleaning business through JAN PRO in the 1990s and continued working both jobs until his health forced him into retirement.
Dino was passionate about basketball and coached a team sponsored by Grace Memorial Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh as a young man, and later coached a Neighborhood Basketball League he started in Ohio. He loved spreading joy to everyone that he met, and spoiling his children and animals. He was a lifelong jokester, and facilitated a riddle contest through group text messages for his immediate family as his way to keep everyone laughing and connected.
Dino passed away November 23, 2023 at David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eunice and Tommy Newring Sr., and his brothers, Lance Newring and Tommy Newring Jr.
To cherish his memory, he leaves his wife of 42 years, Staci Newring; his children, Jaison Newring, Sidni Newring, and Amani Newring; his sisters Toni Newring-DeLaney (the late Johnny), Jarmila Newring, and Trudy Newring-Evans (Carey); sisters-in-law Marla Woody (Marc) and Mary Newring. He also leaves a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. Dino will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
