Dinnis's obituary

Dinnis "Big Dinnis" Crockett passed away on April 3, 2025, at 5:44pm, at St. Tammany hospital in Covington, Louisiana. Born on February 17, 1960, was a Covington native. However, he lived in Madisonville Louisiana, with his family.

Dinnis was predeceased by his devoted wife, Kety Lynn Collins Crockett; his parents; and his stepson, Terry Lee Hunter Jr., affectionately known as "T.J." He leaves behind his loving children, grandchildren, a great-grandchild, brothers, sisters, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Known to many as “Big Dinnis,” he dedicated several years of service to the St. Tammany Parish School Board District before retiring. His commitment to his work and community left a lasting impression on those around him.

Though he made his home in Madisonville in later years, Dennis remained deeply connected to his roots in Covington. He will be remembered with love and missed by all who knew him.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
